Chartered in 1973, the Kiwanis Club of the Las Vegas Strip is part of Kiwanis International, an organization of over 12,000 clubs in more than 90 countries.
Our clubs make a difference by addressing the needs of our communities and focusing on serving the children of the world.
Our members through our foundation actively support:
-
The Salvation Army with bell ringing, canned food drives and toiletry kits for the homeless
-
Veterans and active duty military
-
Hundreds of high school young men and women through scholarships and leadership training in our "key clubs"
-
Reading programs and books for inner-city grade schoolers at Jack Dailey School and Chrystal Academy.
-
Hosting the Boy Scouts with campouts and overnight stays on Lee Canyon
-
Grants and service to the Children's Miracle Network and St. Rose Sienna Hospital for pediatric trauma victims and the neonatal infant ward
Our club members are involved in many other activites as well such as the Ride for Kids, Baby's Bounty, Santa picture day at local elementary schools and several homeless issues in the community.
